Disassociate a booking from the trip. This endpoint does not delete the booking row; it only removes trip association metadata.
Detach a booking from the trip. The booking row itself is preserved (it becomes standalone); only the join row and any now-empty stage segment are removed.
Idempotent: a DELETE for a booking that is not (or no longer) linked to the trip returns 204 No Content so retries succeed per RFC 7231 §4.3.5. Only an unknown trip_id returns 404.
Last personal-trip link: a verified traveller cannot detach the booking from the only personal trip they own while their travel membership is active; that request returns 409 CONFLICT and leaves the link unchanged.
